SWEET PURPLE CANNABIS SEEDS

Northern Predator… A hardy beast, Sweet Purple is an indica variety that has been bred to prowl the northern hemisphere, thriving in gardens where the climate and temperature are unpredictable.
We developed the strain as the solution to many of the problems that plague outdoor growers in latitudes above 50º where mold can be a particular problem towards harvest time. The Sweet Purple is the solution, surviving and thriving in a habitat where many plants struggle.
This is an old school plant, both in looks and product. The heritage is Thai, a nod to the sought after strains that sent ‘Hippy Trail’ travellers deep into Thailand’s forests and mountains in search of the ultimate weed back in the 1970s.
We crossed this Thai line with hardy Dutch genetics to produce a plant that is self sufficient, from the forests of Slovenia to gardens from Canada and England to Scandinavia. Of course it will grow in southern regions providing a decent harvest, but this plant is really a Paradise seeds gift to those who must endure farming their weather besieged gardens north of 50 º n.L. In terms of yield, it may not be the biggest but there won’t be much wastage. This is as safe a bet as you can get in moderate countries.

A modern miracle for colder climate growers, Sweet Purple will take the cold and the wet in its stride and still grow above 2 meters if you let it. The stems grow thick and the leaves bushy. The relatively short flowering time means you should be enjoying this smoke around harvest festival time.
The effects of the Sweet Purple mirror its predator status. It blends into its environment, a pleasant high that seeps through the body, bringing a sense of controlled calm to its every movement, yet it also has a lucid side, focusing the mind for concentration. Sweet and minty, the herbal bouquet that gave this variety its name is a favourite with artists and writers seeking contemplative meditation.
“Like all Paradise Seeds varieties it is very sweet, respectably potent and covered in trichomes. It is my personal favourite for relaxing. No pretension or creeper and just gets you stoned from the first toke.” OG Strain Guide.

The Half-Legal Cannabis Trap - POLITICO

The Half-Legal Cannabis Trap - POLITICO LOS ANGELES — Everything about Kelvin’s job in a neighborhood southwest of downtown seemed like any other assignment, if not a little more exciting. The 40-year-old, who had previously worked as an electrician, had been employed since 2015 by a private security company that contracted him out to guard marijuana dispensaries. In 2019, he was protecting one of the thousand or so cannabis stores in California’s biggest city—part of an industry that has grown less and less underground since 1996, when the state first legalized medical marijuana. Kelvin, who asked not to be identified beyond his middle name to avoid professional retaliation, doesn’t smoke pot, but says the gig felt like the future. He grew up in a time when other Black people he knew in Los Angeles would go to jail for possessing even small amounts of the drug. Now, customers could walk into shops like the one he was guarding, many of which can be identified by green crosses on...

Cannabis news worldwide -- Some Indian farmers are turning moon-gazers

Some Indian farmers are turning moon-gazers A growing number of cultivators opt for biodynamic techniques to give farming a zodiac twist Sarvdaman Patel , 69, stands between rows of legumes and parsley at high noon, but it is not the harsh sun that bothers him. He is obsessed with the moon. "It is currently in the Air sign which is ideal for flowering plants," he remarks, peering at the marigolds. Patel is no Bejan Daruwala. He is an Indian farmer who has been using biodynamic (BD) techniques for the last 16 years on his farm in Gujarat's Anand. The BD cultivation calendar is based on the moon's movement through each zodiac every two-and-a-half days covering all 12 signs every month. An unofficial estimate by the Biodynamic Association of India (BDAI) says about one lakh farmers in Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab and Uttarakhand practise biodynamic farming. However, most of the produce is sold under the generic 'organic' label as few consumers unde...
