PHOTOS: Action Bronson headlines 420 On the Block

Action Bronson warmed the crowd like a dab when he took the stage at 420 On the Block, the highlight of a wild three-day 4/20 festival at the Fox Street Compound.

The snowy rain mixture of Friday and Saturday all culminated to a stoned exhaustion until Bronson tip-toed his way onto the main stage, lighting up the block with his energy. Brash and honest, he performs in a way that reflects exactly how he feels in each moment — stop, take it back, start it again — with unapologetic breadth.

The only event that could possibly top the performance was a late-night meal at Dio Mio. The chic RiNo handmade pasta spot with a fast-casual vibe hit the scene in late 2016. Co chefs and owners Spencer White and Alex Figura welcomed Bronson for an after-hours, private dinner in which bowls of pasta were passed around with care.

To top it off, it was White’s 30th birthday. The chef wrote on Instagram: “Thank you @bambabaklava for celebrating my 30th with me!”
