Winterization of BHO with denatured ethanol

Hello,

Apologies if this question has been answered elsewhere, but I have been searching for an answer for days with not much luck.

The background: I have just started making my own BHO. I am happy with the resulting shatter so far, but am looking to increase potency and purity, possibly in the interest of thinning it via some plant terpenes for use in a cartomizer.

My understanding is that to get my shatter next level, I will need to winterize it to remove plant lipids and waxes.
